Certificate Degree ProgramsUndergraduate Teaching Artist Certificate Program
The Teaching Artist Certificate is a 16-credit program equipping artists with a comprehensive foundation to plan, design and implement a vast area of arts experiences for all ages. Distinctly separate from teaching licensure programs, the Teaching Artist Certificate prepares performing artists with the job-readiness tools to create auditorium performances, school residencies and cultural arts programs for school and community-based organizations.

Prospective TAC program students will be those with: a) a minimum of an Associates degree and a background in the arts; or b) graduates of Bachelors’ programs in an arts discipline; or c) Professional practicing artists (5-year minimum experience) with a high school diploma. Portfolio submission also required.
Upon completion of a certificate program, please confirm with the program coordinator for the awarding of a credential or certificate.
Application Deadline:
- May 1st – Summer Admission deadline
- July 15th – Fall Admission deadline
- November 15th – Spring Admission deadline
