Our 51 hour School Counseling program prepares students for K-12 licensure in North Carolina to practice as professional school counselors. Graduates of the program are prepared to demonstrate the professional knowledge, skills, and practices necessary to promote the academic, career, and personal/social development of all K-12 students. Students are provided all the experiences required by the NC Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) for professional school counselors. The Program is fully accredited by the Council for the Accreditiation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP) and is an endorsed member of the International Registry of Counselor Education Programs (IRCEP).
